Who is Missy Tuffy?

 Miss Tuffy, (Tuffinelo) is a 26 year old teacher. (The kids have trouble saying it so she shorted it.)  Her favorite saying is, “Yippy skip!” Each day she teaches her fun second grade class. She loves kids and her pet zebra named, Zee. He stays at home and tries to get well. (That is another story.) The kids write letters to Zee. Sometimes, Miss Tuffy uses the school field trip bus to take the class to visit him. This makes Zee smile. Did you know that zebras make a strange noise when they are happy? They don’t say yippy skip, but I bet in zebra-talk it means the same thing.

            Recently, Miss Tuffy’s class studied safari animals. Afterwards, they took a field trip to visit other animals. Everyone decided to adopt Tomas the tiger, and Leah the leopard who live at the zoo.

            Miss Tuffy loves reading, traveling, and sharing school items with kids. She hopes to visit Africa next summer.  Maybe you would like to write and share who you are with Miss Tuffy.
