20 Affirmations That Will Make You Love Homeschooling

Homeschooling is a choice we make over and over again day after day. We choose to keep our children home with us knowing they could go to public school for free. We choose to keep our children home with us knowing society (for the most part) feels we shouldn't. We make this choice because we know with all of our hearts that it is what is best for our family; not anyone else's.

Our days begin and end with little voices begging for our attention. It's not easy, but it sure is beautiful.

I'd be lying to you if I told you that I love homeschooling every single day. I'd be lying if I told you I never second guess myself. I'd be lying if I told you that I have moments (many moments) where I want to quit. Our public school is highly rated and literally a block away. It's the hard days when I have Matt there to remind me why we do this. My why's are so strong. And I'm so thankful for a husband who believes in this homeschooling journey as much (if not more) as I do. I know I am lucky for that. I know that isn't the case for everyone.

I want to be that encourager for you. I wanted to create these Homeschool Mom Affirmation Cards as a free gift to you for the days when you just don't know how you're going to keep doing this. It's important work we're doing, and often a thankless job.

So Mama... I'm here to tell you - You are killing it! You've made such an incredibly brave choice to homeschool your kids. I know you're doing amazing because you're reading this right now. Which means you are taking the time to read a homeschool blog, because you want to be better. Me too, girl.

So hang these cards on your fridge. I have mine on a binder ring now and they'll stay up here as a daily reminder to myself. I'll read them every morning. You're important. And you're doing a great job! Thank you for raising such incredible humans who are going to make this world such a better place!
